Garment units use two kinds of electric cloth cutters: straight knife machines for cutting tall stacks of fabric, and round knife machines for a few layers and quick cutting. Each takes its own blades.
The blade length must match the machine: an 8 inch machine takes 8 inch blades, a 10 inch machine 10 inch blades, and so on. We stock 6, 8 and 12 inch straight blades (including high-speed steel blades), and 8 and 10 inch straight knife machines (750 watt).
Round knife cutters take a round blade of one specific diameter. We stock 110 mm and 125 mm machines (350 watt), a 65 mm machine, and blades in 65, 100, 110 and 125 mm, plus the grinding stone for the 125 mm machine. Cloth cutting machines and blades

A dull blade pulls the fabric and gives uneven cut edges, especially at the bottom of the stack. Sharpen often with the built-in sharpener and replace the abrasive belt when it wears smooth.
Always wear a stainless steel mesh cutting glove on the hand that holds the fabric, and switch the machine off before changing a blade. We stock metal mesh gloves.
