Motor encoder signal fault. The control box is not getting a proper signal from the motor encoder (resolver).
Shown on Brother machines including 311H, 311HN, 341H, 342G, 430D, 430F, 430FX, 430HX, 438F, 6200A, 7000DD, 7100A and others.
Switch the machine off before touching any connector. If the code comes back after these checks, the fault is usually in the servo motors or control boxes, PCBs and sensors.

Motor encoder signal fault. The control box is not getting a proper signal from the motor encoder (resolver).
Switch off and check the 10-pin resolver connector (P6 on the main PCB) is plugged in. If it is, the motor or the main PCB is faulty. If the code stays, the fault is usually in the servo motors or control boxes, PCBs and sensors.
