Motor overload. The main motor is being asked to turn but cannot, or is drawing too much current. The usual causes are a locked machine head (thread jammed in the hook, a seized part), material far thicker than the machine is rated for, or a motor or drive fault.

Switch the machine off before touching any connector. If the code comes back after these checks, the fault is usually in the servo motors or control boxes, PCBs and sensors or hooks and shuttles.

Motor overload. The main motor is being asked to turn but cannot, or is drawing too much current. The usual causes are a locked machine head (thread jammed in the hook, a seized part), material far thicker than the machine is rated for, or a motor or drive fault.
Switch off, turn the hand wheel: if it is stiff, clear the hook area and the thread trimmer of thread and lint. Check that the material thickness is within the machine's rating. If the wheel turns freely and the error returns, the motor or its driver board needs testing. If the code stays, the fault is usually in the servo motors or control boxes, PCBs and sensors or hooks and shuttles.
